Per veteran: Got married to Barbara while home on leave in April 1958. Served aboard the ship U.S.S. Jason, home ported in San Diego, from 1958 to 1961. Was employed by Gulf States Utilities from Sept. 1961 until retirement in 1994. After retirement, I was briefly employed by NISD, Miller Electric and Walmart photo lab. Attended Lamar on the G.I. Bill, graduated (B.B.D) in 1979.

Barbara and I are very fortunate to have traveled all over the world during our lifetime, over 50 countries.

We have five grandchildren and one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews.

I was a member of several organizations -- P.T.A. & Nederland Jr. Chamber of Commerce, Toastmaster International and Nederland Knights of Columbus, Scout master at Highland Park, leader in Junior Business
